Your health, run like a portfolio

Every goal gets its own daily target, and together they add up to one score — like holdings in a portfolio. Your mentor explains it in plain words — and never leaves your iPhone.

ScoreOne number

The score is not a health grade. It shows how well you keep your goals

It measures how closely your days match the goals you set, not how healthy you are. No goals, no score: we show a dash, not a zero. Green and red mean movement toward your goal, not up and down — falling weight is green when the target is lower.

  1. 1

A day — landing inside the range

Inside the band it counts as one; outside it decays smoothly. Overshooting never pays more than one: twelve hours of sleep is not better than eight.

  2. 2

    A goal — a three-day weighted average

Today weighs the most, last week almost nothing. One blown day never wipes out a goal.

  3. 3

The portfolio — goals add up into sectors

Nutrition, sleep and activity weigh the same, and each goal shares its sector’s weight with its neighbours — so five easy nutrition goals cannot take over the score.

MentorVoice

A mentor who reads your portfolio

Mornings: what matters today. Mondays: a look back at the week. Any time: an answer to your question. In your tone, all on device.

Day briefing
You mentioned a knee injury, so no running advice from me. Steps are on track; protein is 30 g short of target, three days in a row.
Weekly review · Mondays
The week closed at 96. Steps went best, protein worst — 90% of target. I suggest making it the focus of the week.
Your question
“Dinner is in an hour and I am 40 g of protein short.” — Cottage cheese with berries and a two-egg omelette close both that and the calorie budget.

Ask the mentor

  • Why is my focus goal behind?
  • What should I eat tonight?
  • How do I close the budget today?
On device onlyTone: measured

You pick the tone in the first questionnaire and can change it any time. It never touches the numbers or the goals.

DiaryFood

Log a meal in one sentence — or one photo

Sleep, steps, heart rate and weight sync from Apple Health on their own. Food is the only thing left to enter — and there are three ways to do it.

Text

“omelette of three eggs and toast” is enough — the grams and the calories work themselves out.

Voice

Say it while you walk: speech recognition runs on the device, hands stay free.

Camera

A plate or a label — the camera works out what is in frame and reads the nutrition table.

What leaves your phone

The app has no server of its own. Below is everything that leaves the phone at all, line by line. The mentor and the portfolio build are always the first row, and always a dash.

WhatWhere it runsWhat leaves the phone
Mentor and portfolio buildYour iPhone only— nothing, ever
Health data, diary, your notesOn device, in the app’s own database— nothing
Label and meal photosOn device, or in Apple Private Cloud Compute with your consentThe frame. Processing there is ephemeral: it is stored nowhere and is unavailable to anyone, including Apple and the developer. On-device-only mode stays available.
SubscriptionApp Store and RevenueCatAn anonymous device identifier and purchase events. The app has no accounts.
Product analyticsPostHog, EU hostAn event name from a closed list and an anonymous install identifier. Free text cannot physically go in.
NotificationsScheduled on the device— nothing — there are no push servers, and no health figures on your lock screen.

The mentor rule is not a setting: there is no consent and no fallback that would send its prompts anywhere. A build phase fails the whole build if that line is crossed.

WeekReview

Every Monday: a look back and a plan for the week ahead

The week closes on Sunday night. By morning the review is ready: what went best, what slipped and what to focus on. When the numbers ask for it, the app suggests a new target for a goal — or more weight for whatever is falling behind.

One notification a week carries this. No more than one a day and three a week — and no numbers about your health on the lock screen.

Focus of the week — Protein

The focus goal gets extra weight in the score for the next week. Other goals stay untouched.

Goal review

Calorie deficit500 → 600 kcal/day

Your real deficit keeps running above the goal while weight moves at the planned pace — so the goal catches up with what you actually do.

FAQQuestions

Questions people ask first

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The iPhone alone gives steps, weight and the food diary. A watch adds sleep, heart rate and variability — you simply get more to set goals on.

Does it work without Apple Health?

Yes. The food diary works on its own, and you can grant Health access later in Settings. The app only ever sees the categories you switch on in the Health sheet — iOS never tells us what you left off.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The mentor, the portfolio and the score all run on the device. Only recognition of meals, workouts and labels can optionally reach Apple’s private cloud, and even that has an on-device-only mode.

Is my data used to train anything?

No. There is no server of ours to send it to. The full list of what leaves the phone is in the table above.

What does the subscription cover?

The portfolio, the score, the mentor and the weekly review. Seven days free, then it renews; you can cancel in the App Store at any time.

What if I stop paying?

Your data stays yours and stays on the phone. You can save a copy as a single file, so it survives a reinstall.

Set your first goal today

The first questionnaire takes two minutes. After that the portfolio builds itself out of what Health already knows about you.
